Reports to: Production Manager

The purpose of this position is to process all incoming donations in a timely, efficient and safe manner; while maintaining a positive attitude and outstanding team spirit.

Traits and Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of diplomacy.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate with fellow team members.
• Must be able to meet quotas and deadlines.
• Eye-hand coordination to sort, grasp, color coordinate and tag.
• Must be able to pay close attention to detail and keep accurate records

Physical Skill Requirements:

• Lifting and Carrying 20 up to 50 lbs.
• Pushing and pulling 20 - 50 lbs. or force
• Standing 100% of the time
• Repetitive use of hands-100% of the time
• Reaching overhead-40% of the time
• Pushing and pulling-80% of the time
• Bending and crouching-50% of the time
• Grasping items with hands -100% of the time

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to dust-ongoing continual basis
• Exposure to temperature fluctuations periodically
• Flexible with scheduling changes due to store needs and sales events
• May require overtime on occasion due to store needs

Essential Duties and Responsibilities % of Time

Customer Engagement- Provides customers with fast, friendly and courteous service. Responds to customer's questions and/or takes initiative to find answers for them. Greet and assist customers on the sales floor while making eye contact and smiling. Uphold store policies and procedures.   -As Required

Assessing Work Flow & Inventory - Call for Utility to empty trash as it accumulates. Call for full carts as needed. Keep your production area flowing so as not to back up production or by not suppling a station with product.   -Continually

Processing - Teamwork is key to ensure production goals are met.   -Continually

Work Area - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production floor for safety and the most efficient production possible. Keep area free of debris and large items and entire area should be cleaned and set for set morning prior to leaving.   -Continually

Safety - Provides our team members with a hazard free environment by following company safety guidelines and procedures. This includes ensuring the cleanup of any breakages or spills promptly, following guidelines and resolving or reporting any hazard or injury to the Production Supervisor or Store Manager.   -Continually

Communication - Communicate with fellow employees in a respectful manner to inspire a spirit of teamwork.   -Continually
